3 <br />Weed Control staff spraying has also been limited. About three miles of the Horace Diversion has been sprayed where homeowner complaints have been received regarding Canada thistle on the diversion property. <br /> Leafy spurge flea beetles are emerging with good numbers of flea beetles emerging. Collections have been made on ND Fish and Game land around Brewer Lake. The Cass County Ag Alert Extension newsletter and a press release announced that we were collecting flea beetles. To date 17 collections <br />have been distributed to landowners and on several infested areas in southwest Cass County. We will continue to collect and distribute flea beetles. Several letters have been sent out to landowners regarding noxious weed infestations, mostly Leafy spurge and Canada thistle. <br /> A formal complaint regarding noxious weeds in a residential yard in Page has been received and investigated. A large patch of Canada thistle was found in the back yard of the property. A notice if infestation has been mailed to the owner, no further action has been undertaken to date. <br /> <br />.
