<br />RECEIVED <br />!AUG 25.!20061 <br /> <br />CABS COUNTY COMMISSION <br /> <br />INVESTIGATION OF ABATEMENT APPLICATION <br /> <br />ABATEMENT #4293 <br /> <br />Following is a report on the investigation ofthe abatement application of: Steve Heier <br /> <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners and State Tax Commissioner: <br /> <br />The applicant is asking that the residential valuation be reduced from $96,400 to $70,400 for the <br />year 2006 on his property located at 1302 88th Ave S, Stanley Twp. Mr. Heier states that because <br />of flooding this spring, most ofthe deck was lost and that the lower 2 levels of his home were <br />completed flooded. <br /> <br />The Stanley Twp Board and the local assessor recommended approval of this abatement. <br /> <br />Earlier this spring, I did observe the flooding ofthis property. It's located on the west side of <br />Hwy #81 South on the Wild Rice Rice. This property has flooded in the past. The bank ofthe <br />river has also started to erode.
