<br />ORDINANCE NO. 190-06 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE AND ENACT SECTION 1-0814 OF THE REVISED <br />ORDINANCES OF 2000 OF THE CITY OF MAPLETON, NORTH DAKOTA, RELATING <br />TO THE TRANSFER OF ALL MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE CASES TO DISTRICT COURT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF MAPLETON, NORTH <br />DAKOTA: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 1-0814 of the Revised Ordinances of 2000 of <br /> <br />the City of Mapleton, North Dakota, is hereby created and enacted <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />1-0814: TRANSFER OF ALL MUNICIPAL CASES TO DISTRICT COURT. <br />All municipal ordinance cases from and after September 15, 2006, of <br />the Municipal Court of the City of Mapleton shall be transferred to <br />the Cass County District Court. These cases are deemed district <br />court cases for the purposes of appeal. The City Council of the <br />City of Mapleton may abolish, by resolution, the office of <br />municipal judge. The term of the office of the municipal judge <br />elected to serve shall terminate upon the date the City Council, by <br />resolution, abolishes the office of municipal judge. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DA'l'E.
