Commission Minutes--October 20, 2003 2660 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BO~RD OF COMMISSIONERS OCTOBER 20, 2003! 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Scott Wagner called the meeting to order ~t 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, \Aern Bennett and Scott Wagner. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The chairman asked John Meyer to lead the Pledge Qf Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconde~ that the minutes of the last regular meeting held September 29, 2003, ~nd the minutes of the special meeting held October 1, 2003, be approvedias written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Vanyo moved and Mrs. Sorum seconde~ to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions to the ~onsent agenda: 1) joint powers agreement for purchasing with the ~orth Dakota Association of Counties for Special Operations Team Support; and 2) purchase orders for landscaping and lighting of the county/~ity park district parking lot west of the Cass County Annex. Motion carried. 5. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, Extension Service: Bui'dinas & Grounds MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconde~ to approve a budget adjustment for the income and expense lin, items of the Extension Service Parenting Resources Center budg~t, as specified in the request dated September 25, 2003. On roll call vot~, the motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconde~ to approve a budget adjustment for the Buildings & Grounds b~dget in the amount of $19,623.07 for the insurance reimbursemel1t on Annex repairs and clean-up. On roll call vote, the motion carded unanimously. 6. OMITTED ASSESSMENTS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Bennett seconde~ to add part of 28-139-49 to the City of Fargo as omitted property for 2Q03 in the amount of $162,400 residential lot, structure and agriculturallatJd, according to notice sent from the county auditor to Danny & Diane $chatz, Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unaniniously.
