This assessment will be completed by the City of Fargo Weapons <br />of Mass Destruction Response Planner and will determine future homeland <br />security funding. <br /> <br />$4,000 was designated for completion of the community based planning <br />assessment that is being led by the City of Fargo. The remaining $30,000 is for <br />completion of the terrorism annex to the Cass County Emergency Plan and will <br />be designed and completed utilizing the WMD Response Planner assigned to the <br />Fargo Fire Department. <br /> <br />Because the City of Fargo is providing these services as required by the ND <br />DEM and the US Department of Homeland Security we are requesting that Cass <br />County release the $34,000 of federal planning funds to the City of Fargo to fund <br />the position of WMD response planner for completion of the above described <br />tasks. <br /> <br />Bruce W.
