.

.

.

D

Indoor Air Quality Testing: Through our indoor air quality test process we will perform an
Indoor Air Quality test of your facility _ times per year. We will document carbon dioxide,
carbon monoxide, temperature, relative humidity, TVOC (total volatile organic compounds) and
visual signs of contamination in the HVAC system and within the building. This service is
designed to optimize the efficiency and well-being of your facility's personnei by providing you
with advanced indication of system air flow deficiencies and other conditions that could lead to
productivity disruption. This service will also document conditions consistent with good indoor
air quality. Upon completion of our service we will provide a written audit report consisting of an
analysis of our inspection, the results of the monitoring tests, and recommendations regarding
facility HVAC repairs and/or maintenance based on conditions found. We will perform the
following:

1. Basic Diacmostic Samplina: Sampling and testing will be conducted to screen for the
following potential air contaminants and physical conditions:

A. Carbon dioxide - To determine the risk of objectionable bio-effluents and to
estimate the amount of outside air supply. Multiple tests will be made at several
sites in the morning and afternoon.

B. Temperature and humidity - Physical conditions important to the perception of
air quality. Multiple tests will be made in morning and afternoon as above.

C. Carbon monoxide - A contaminant gas which can come from vehicle exhaust gas
infiltration, cracked furnace heat exchangers, stack gas leakage and the like.
Multiple tests will be made in the morning and afternoon as above.

2.

Visual Survey: A visual survey will be conducted of representative, readily accessible
sections of the building HVAC system to evaluate condition, sanitation and internal and
external chemical contamination. Air movement will be checked qualitatively with visible
smoke. The survey will include:

A. Air intakes
B. Air handling units
C. Heating/cooling coils
D. Filters
E. Distribution system

3. Procedure/Policv Review: A review will be made of management procedures and
policies relative to indoor air quality within the building.

4. Walk-Throuah Survev: A walk-through survey of the building will be made to note
signs of microbial contamination.

Cass Co.
