../~E _ ~ !j~~ " AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of , 2006, by and between Cass County Government, by and through the Cass County Sheriff's Office, State of North Dakota (hereafter "CASS") and County of RANSOM (hereafter "RANSOM"). WITNESSETH, that for and in consideration ofthe mutual covenants and agreements herein contained, the parties agree as follows: I. Scope of Service: CASS shall provide detention facilities for the holding of juveniles for unruly or delinquent acts pursuant to Chapter 27-20 of the North Dakota Century Code, and all necessary and incidental services associated with such detention of juveniles, at the Cass County Juvenile Detention Center located at Fargo, North Dakota. 2. Payment: RANSOM shall pay CASS at the rate of One HundredFiftv Five Dollars ($155.00) per day per juvenile, which rate shall apply for any day or any part of anyone 24-hourperiod (midnight to midnight) during which any juvenile of RANSOM shall be housed in the Detention facility. Cass will bill for the day of arrival, but not for the day of departure if different from the day of arrival. 3. Term: The term of this Agreement shall be continuous provided, however, that it maybe modified or cancelled only upon thirty (30) days written notice by either party. All changes or modifications shall be subject to the written approval of both of the parties. In any event, this agreement shall remain in full force and effect until modified or cancelled by one or both parties.
