I had them prepare the <br />agreement to start on November 1, 2003 - the costs for November and December <br />will come from funds that we have budgeted in the current budget. <br /> <br />This earlier start date will allow me to spend more time on Auditor Office <br />functions and will allow Terry Schmaltz to start on some of the reorganizing of <br />Information Services functions. Mr. Schmaltz has already met with the <br />department head group to let them know what the contract is all about, what the <br />goals of the office are for next year, and to get feedback from them on where <br />they see the priorities are for the coming months. <br /> <br />Thank you for including the funding for this contract in the budget.
