<br />Attornev Position Modification <br /> <br />Ms. Hogan informed the Board that Susan Bailey, one of the agency's assistant states attorneys, <br />has resigned effective February 14. Her position was changed to a.9 FTE in August 2004. Ms. <br />Hogan requested that position be changed back to a full time FTE. She said the salary funding <br />would not be a problem as Ms. Bailey is currently a D62, step 4 and a replacement would begin <br />as a C44. <br /> <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Ms. Holes-Dickson seconded the vacant states <br />attorney position in Cass County Social Services be adjusted from a <br />.9 FTE to afull time position effective February 15,2006. <br /> <br />Operations Report <br />Mr. Skjonsby reviewed the Financial Report with the Board. It is estimated that actual <br />expenditures for 2005 will be less than projected as well as more revenues than projected. His <br />final report for the 2005 budget will be presented at the April meeting as some revenues have not <br />yet been received. <br /> <br />Ms. Hogan reminded the Board of the ND DHS stakeholders meeting at the Kelly Inn in Fargo <br />on Friday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m. In addition to the position statement on the need to <br />consolidate technology systems for Economic Assistance programs, there will be position <br />statements on child welfare funding and Home and Community Services Program services. She <br />also invited Board members to attend the exit interview ofthe Children and Family Services <br />audit conducted the same week. That will take place Thursday, February 9 at 1 :00 p.m. in the <br />basement of the Annex. <br /> <br />Ms. Hogan informed the Board that all managers have been trained on the new Internet <br />monitoring system by Terry Schmaltz from ITD. Protocols for when and how to use the <br />information are being discussed. Also, the internet use policy was reviewed with all staff in <br />January at a general staff meeting. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned on a motion by Mr. Wagner and <br />seconded by Mr. Vanyo. <br /> <br />Ken Pawluk, Chairman <br />Cass County Social Services <br /> <br />Mary Denis, Recorder <br />
