<br />RECEIVED <br />APR 2 0 2006 <br /> <br />CASS COUNTY COMMISSION <br /> <br />INVESTIGATION OF ABATEMENT APPLICATION <br /> <br />ABATEMENT #4286 <br /> <br />Following is a report on the investigation of the abatement application of: Karen Kostecki <br /> <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners and State Tax Commissioner: <br /> <br />The applicant is asking that the residential valuation be reduced from $330,100 to $310,000 for <br />the year 2005 based on a recent appraisal. The Iwo stoty 4 bedroom home with attached 3 stall <br />garage is located on a river lot in Highland Park addition Reed Twp. <br /> <br />Reed Twp recommended approval of the abatement application. <br /> <br />I did review the appraisal, inspect the property, and met with the owner. The applicant is asking <br />for a reduction of 6%. There wefe few sales oftmly comparable property in the area.
