These recommendations
were approved by the Cass County Commission.

Included was an allocation of$8,900 for a generator on a trailer that would be accessible
by any rural Cass County community during an emergency/disaster situation. Casselton
Ambulance agreed to be responsible for storing, testing, and maintaining this equipment
at their location and facilitating the shared use of the generator with others when the need
arose.

The bid for this equipment has been received for $25,000. We have realized some ,
savings in the interoperable radio equipment pat1 of this grant and can afford to moveithe
balance for the generator from that area. The Emergency Management Board met today
and is recommending that this be done.

Dave Rogness

Motion: 1 move that the Cass Commission agree with the recommendation of the Cass
,
Fargo Emergency Management Board to reallocate up to $15,000 Fomthe 05 Home!and
Security Equipment Grant fund from the interopcrable radio project to purchase a
generator for use by Cass raral communities.
