<br />CALL FOR BIDS <br />ELECTION SUPPLIES <br />CASS COUNTY <br /> <br />ND .bids rece j ved <br />3 -jp- bio <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received in the office ofthe <br />County Auditor ofCass County, Cass, North Dakota, until 9:00 a.m. on March 6, 2006, <br />for furnishing Primary and General Election supplies for each ofCass County's 58 <br />precincts. A list of supplies needed is available from the Cass County Auditor's Office. <br /> <br />SEALED BIDS will also be taken for the printing of ballots for the Primary and General <br />Elections. Cass County will furnish the 8 y," x ]4" or 8 y," x ] 7" ballot stock which <br />must be printed with black black ink. Cass County has 58 precincts, each of which will <br />likely have a formal change on both the front and back sides of the ballot. Printers will <br />be supplied with a PDF file of each precinct - some precincts will have multiple PDF's <br />because of different ballot styles within the precinct. Bidders shall state a price per <br />precinct or style for printing the first] 00 ballots. Bids are also requested for the printing <br />of additional ballots in groups of ] 00 and 500 per precinct. Further information on the <br />election supplies or ballot printing may be obtained from the County Auditor. <br /> <br />All bids must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder's bond in a <br />sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will <br />enter into the contract ifit is awarded to the bidder. When the bid is ten thousand dollar <br />or less, the bidder may in lieu of such bond provide a certified or cashier's check equal to <br />five percent of the full amount of the bid.
