If alarm sounds, a further check will be required and the officer will screen the <br />individual with a hand-held metal detector. <br /> <br />11. If explainable items are determined to be the cause of the alarm, individual will <br />be allowed to retrieve personal items and enter the building. <br /> <br />12. If prohibited items are located or unexplained items continue to sound alarm, <br />supervisory action is required and a deputy will be summoned to the scene. <br /> <br />13. Individuals in wheel chairs will bypass walk-through metal detector and be <br />screened by hand-held metal detector. <br /> <br />C. Prohibited Items <br /> <br />1. The following items are prohibited from entering the building: ' <br /> <br />a. Knives <br />b. Firearms (Police) <br />c. Bullets <br />d. Chemical Agents (i.e. mace, OC, dog repellent) <br />e. Any dangerous weapons <br /> <br />2. All prohibited items will be refused entry and the individual will be instructed to <br />remove the item from the building, or prohibited items may be left in a labeled <br />envelope and stored while the individual is in the building. <br /> <br />3. Any items left overnight will go to property disposaL <br /> <br />4. The following items are illegal to possess or carry: <br /> <br />a. Firearms (Public) <br />b. Switch Blades <br />c.
