Keith Berndt PROJECT NUMBER MS0302 PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION BIDS CLOSE September 25, 2003 10:00 AM NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids _will be received until 10:00 a.m. on-September 25, 2003 by the Cass County Au- ditor at the Auditor's Office in the Cass County Courthouse, Fargo, North Dakota for a Parking Lot Reconstruction project located west of the existing Annex parking lot. Bids to be opened immediately following the hour set for receiving bids in the Commission Room at the Cass County Courthouse, 211 9th Street South, Fargo, North Dakota. Major Items of Work Include: Subgrade Prep. -Type A-6" 1,556 SY Aggregate Base Course Class 5 600 Ton Hot Bituminous Pavement Class 27 525 Ton PG 58-28 Asphalt Cement 32 Ten Pavement Marking Painted 4" Line 580 LF Curb & Gutter ' 480 LF Sidewalk Concrete 6" 177 SY Plans and proposals may be obtained at the office of the Cass County Engineer, West Fargo, North Dakota, for $10.00 per set, non-refundable. All envelopes containing bids must be clearly marked on the outside 'BID FOR PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION", and the North Dakota con* tractors license number must be shown. A bidders bond in the amount of 5% of the amount bid, made payable to Cass County shall accompany each bid in a SEPARATE ENVE* LOPE ATTACHED TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE BID. Certified or Cashiers checks will not be ac- cepted. No bid will be read or considered which does not comply with the bond requirements. Prequalification is required for all bidders pri- or to obtaining a bidders proposal. Contractors may be required to submit information detailing their ability to perform the work specific to this project. Cass County shall determine the P~rs- qualification status of each contractor requesting a proposal, and reserves the right to deny bid documents to any contractor based on the Coun- ty's responsibility determination.
