<br />Commission Minutes-February 21, 2006 3037 <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said the county commission may be asked to revisit the policy language again <br />if an agreement is reached with the area entities to establish a uniform exemption schedule. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to amend Commission <br />Policy Manual Section 34.00, Tax Incentive Policy, to follow state law on <br />grantor reporting requirements. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />9. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />204,690 through Voucher No. 205,191. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. MEETING UPDATES; BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS REPORT; COURTHOUSE SPACE <br />PLANNING MEETING, Committee reports <br />Commissioners and staff reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, <br />as well as upcoming meetings. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said the courthouse wooden floors will be replaced this summer, and she has <br />a sample of what will be put in its place if commissioners want to stop by her office to see it. <br /> <br />Mr. Pawluk complimented Mrs. Johnson on her diligence and intuitiveness in trying to <br />resolve the problem of a frozen sewer pipe at the jail. She is reviewing a proposed redesign <br />and will report to the commission at a future meeting. <br /> <br />An organizational meeting of the courthouse addition building committee will be held Friday, <br />February 24, 2006, at 3:45 PM in the commission room at the courthouse. <br /> <br />11. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOT/ON, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Notice from Dave Rogness, Emergency Manager, of a flood preparedness seminar at <br />the Fargo Public Safety Building, 4630 15th Avenue North in Fargo, at 6:30 PM on <br />February 23, 2006. <br /> <br />12.
