<br />Commission Minutes--September 21, 1998 1868 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />SEPTEMBER 21, 1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:45 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the <br />special meeting and the regular meeting, both held on September 8, <br />1998, be approved. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Kindred School Close Up Program <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve raffle permit <br />for the Kindred School District Close Up Program on the date of <br />November 14,1998, atthe Kindred School, Kindred, NO. On roll call <br />vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Budget adiustment for grant reimbursement <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to amend the Sheriff's <br />Department 1998 budget to reflect an increase of $1,657.38 in <br />revenue under 101-3501-331.55-05 (Federal Grants) and $1,657.38 in <br />additional expense under 101-3501-421.82-01 (Other Expenses). On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL AMENDED, Appointed to Weed Board <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to amend Commission <br />Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, and appoint Ken <br />Hagen, leonard, NO to the County Weed Control Board to fill a <br />vacancy from the southwest area of the county for a four-year term <br />to expire July 1, 2002. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. METROPOLITAN COUNCil, Bikeway proiects added to Transportation Plan <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to add the Cass County <br />17 and Cass County 31 bikeway projects to the 1998 Metropolitan <br />Transportation Plan, according to memorandum from the County <br />
