<br />Commission Minutes--September 8, 1998 1863 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:40 PM with all members present <br />as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes ofthe last <br />regular meeting of August 17, 1998, and special budget meetings of <br />August 19, 20, 21 and 24, 1998, be approved as written. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the addition of a resolution relating to Refunding <br />Municipal Industrial Development Bonds and setting a public hearing. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Playmakers Sports Cafe & Bar at Bonanzaville <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve special <br />alcoholic beverage permit for Playmakers Sports Cafe & Bar on the <br />date of August 22, 1998, at Bonanzaville for a wedding reception. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, St. Peter's WELCA <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve raffle permit <br />for St. Peter's WELCA to be held October 10, 1998, at St. Peter's <br />Lutheran Church in Leonard, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase of vehicles through State bids <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that the Commission <br />approve the purchase of County Highway Departmentvehicles through <br />State bids and to authorize the Commission Chairman and the County <br />Auditor to sign the joint powers acknowledgment. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. PLAT APPROVAL, Burris Addition: Babe's Addition <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Meyer seconded that the Cass County <br />Board of Commissioners grant final plat approval to Burris Addition, <br />
