PRIVATE DRIVE REQUEST APPEAL, Denied
Mr. Wieland said a request was made by Robert Sinner for a private drive on County Highway
10. The County Engineer recommends denial on the request, however Mr. Wieland wants to
approve the request because of the following: 1) at this time, there is no possible way to put in
a service road; 2) the location of the driveway is in area with low volumes of traffic; 3) this
driveway would be installed at no cost to the county; and 4) the owner will install stop signs at
each drive approach for safety. Mr. Wieland said the County Engineer's recommendation is
appropriate according to county policy; however, Mr. Wieland requested to deviate from the
policy and approve Mr. Sinner's request.
