<br />Commission Minutes-February 2, 1998 1771 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FEBRUARY 2, 1998 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna Schneider. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the minutes of <br />the previous meeting as written. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: 1) contract <br />with Fargo Cass Public Health; 2) contract with North Dakota Department <br />of Human Services; and 3) resolution of condolence to the family of the <br />late Warren Stofferahn. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Rodnev & Debra Youna <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded that Abatement #4095 be <br />approved as recommended by the Director of Equalization and the <br />Stanley Township Board. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, County deed to City of Fargo <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to authorize the chairman <br />and the county auditor to sign a county deed to the City of Fargo for sale <br />of tax-forfeited property. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Farao Cass Public Health: Department of Human Services <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the following <br />contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio <br />commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the <br />chairman to sign: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Fargo Cass Public Health for public health and jail nursing services <br />North Dakota Department of Human Services for Child Care Licensing Addendum <br />
