SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, County deeds to Cities of Harwood and Oxbow <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to authorize the <br />chairman and the county auditor to sign three county deeds to the <br />City of Harwood and one county deed to the City of Oxbow for the <br />sale of tax-forfeited property. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />12. PERMITS FOR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SALES, Approved for Club 94 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve Sunday <br />alcoholic beverage permit for Club 94 at their establishment near <br />Casselton, North Dakota on the date of January 26, 1998, for Super <br />Bowl Sunday. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Moore Engineering: Metropolitan Council of Governments: <br />Joint Powers Agreements: Northern Capital Trust; Houston Engineering <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve the <br />following contracts submitted by respective department head and <br />portfolio commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and <br />authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Moore Engineering for County Flood Hazard Mitigation Study; <br />Metropolitan Council of Governments for 1998 Red River Crossing Corridor <br />Study; <br />Joint Powers Agreement with cities in Cass County for election purposes; <br />Northern Capital Trust for flexible spending accounts; <br />Houston Engineering for County Highway 10 bridge replacement; <br />Houston Engineering for County Highway 20 hydraulic analysis. <br /> <br />14. ORDINANCE #1998-1, Second reading and adoption of ordinance regulating surface <br />use of the Red River of the North <br />This was the time and place advertised for second reading/adoption of an ordinance <br />regulating surface use of the Red River of the North. First reading of the ordinance was held <br />December 1,1997, and notice of proposed ordinance was published in the county's official <br />newspaper on December 8,1997. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve second <br />reading and final adoption of Ordinance #1998-1 regulating the <br />surface use of the Red River of the North, as follows, and to have <br />the State's Attorney publish this ordinance with all other county <br />
