w <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--October 27, 1997 1735 <br /> <br />COMMITTEE APPOINTMENT <br />From the county standpoint on the committee to develop a master plan for future flood mitigation, <br />Mr. Wieland suggested Keith Berndt, Glenn Ellingsberg and one county commissioner. Other <br />committee members, to be selected by their respective jurisdictions, will include one representative <br />from each of the two major cities in the county, townships, water resource boards, State of North <br />Dakota and the Corps of Engineers. Mr. Ellingsberg suggested appointing two township <br />representatives, one from a township that has a flood plain management system in place and one <br />that does not. Since Commissioner Robbie Quick has the Road Department portfolio, Mr. Wieland <br />asked her to represent the County Commission and to chair this committee. Mrs. Quick was in <br />agreement.
