MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to authorize the chairman <br /> to sign purchase order #2011 in the amount of $13,000 for Lucent <br /> Technologies, Inc; and to sign Purchase/Service agreement with Lucent <br /> Technologies. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS JOINT LUNCHEON WITH CLAY COUNTY POSTPONED; BUILDINGS & <br />GROUNDS UPDATE; EMERGENCY SITUATIONS; FARGO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON; TOWNSHIP OFFICERS MEETING, Committee reports <br />A joint Cass and Clay County Commissioners luncheon scheduled for today was postponed due <br />to the winter storm this past weekend. <br /> <br />Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator, informed Commissioners that the Courthouse and Annex <br />are on generator power today in order to conserve electricity. Also, she reported on keeping the <br />alley between the Courthouse and Jail clear of snow during the weekend storm. <br /> <br />Concern was expressed about the current flood situation as members of the commission and <br />other county officials have traveled around the county assessing preliminary damages. Mr. <br />Koenig reported on weekend meetings with Federal officials on the flood situation here. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland reminded Commissioners of the Fargo Chamber of Commerce post-legislative <br />assembly reception for Fargo legislators on April 17, 1997, 4:30-6:30 PM, at the Chamber Office. <br /> <br />Also, it was noted that the Cass County Township Officer's Association is meeting April 17, 1997, <br />at 7:30 PM in Casselton. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to receive and file <br /> correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
