10. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--December 2, 1996 1547 <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of-state <br /> travel for Roger Flynn to Bemidji, MN on December 2, 1996. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Joseph D. Ro~_ers MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to add Lot 3, Block 8 <br /> Industrial Subdivision #1, City of Fargo, as omitted property for the year <br /> 1996 in the amount of $491,200, according to notice from the county <br /> auditor to Joseph D. Rogers, Lake Elmo, MN. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, County deeds signed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to authorize the Chairman <br /> of the County Commission and the County Auditor to sign four County <br /> Deeds purchased from the sale of tax-forfeited property. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE <br /> <br />OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Offer unsold properties to respective cities <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to authorize the County <br />Auditor to offer to the city in which property is located the list of unsold <br />properties from the annual tax sale for $1 per property plus recording <br />fee of $10.00, and with the stipulation that the county will cancel all <br />taxes and the city will cancel all specials against the property. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />STATE'S ATTORNEY, Bude_et adjustment for Victim Witness Pro9ram <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded to increase budget of the <br /> Cass County Victim Witness Assistance Program (State's Attorney's <br /> Office) to take advantage of a grant for computer equipment. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Dale & Merry Pat Beyer; Sylvia Hill MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded that abatement #4038 be <br /> reduced to $10,000 true and full value as recommended by the Director <br /> of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded that abatement #4054 be <br />approved as presented, as recommended by the Erie Township Board <br />and Director of Equalization.
