Commission Minutes--September 3, 1996 1507 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SEPTEMBER 3, 1996 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider, Bernie Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order of the agenda, adding Morris Gravel, Inc. to the contract approval item on the consent agenda. Motion carried. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Four Corners Wildlife Club MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle permit for Four Corners Wildlife Club at the Embden Senior Center on the date of November 25, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Doublewood Inn MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve permit for special event for the Doublewood Inn at Johnson Barn near Arthur on the date of September 19, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Rich Majerus and another staff member to the MOClC conference in Topeka, KS on the dates of September 16-20, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Steve Gabrielson and Tony Krogh to attend a training session at Camp Ripley, near Little Falls, MN on the dates of September 16-20, 1996. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
