CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AMBULANCE SERVICE BUDGET MEETING--SEPTEMBER 5, 1995 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Bernie Ness called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM in the Commission Room at <br />the Courthouse with all commissioners present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" <br />Toussaint, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Bernie Ness. Also present were all members <br />of the county finance committee, which consists of Auditor Michael Montplaisir, Treasurer <br />Charlotte Sandvik, County Coordinator Bonnie Johnson, and two of the county <br />commissioners, Mr. Ness and Mr. Wieland. <br /> <br />Representatives of all ambulance services in Cass County and fire and rescue squads were <br />invited to this meeting to discuss their 1996 budget request. Printed information was <br />previously submitted to the county outlining the request. Dale Torgerson, Kindred <br />Ambulance Service, addressed the commission and finance committee on behalf of their <br />group. About ten people were present in the audience. Also speaking on behalf of the <br />ambulance services was Dr. Mike Valkenburg of Dakota Hospital. <br /> <br />The commission will consider the budget request, with a decision being made prior to <br />adoption of the final budget. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Meeting adjourned at 3:30 PM. <br /> <br />J:LMINUTES\COMM95~SEPT5BUD.MIN <br /> <br /> <br />
