Minutes--September 5, 1995 1380 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> SEPTEMBER 5, 1995 (TUESDAY) <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Bernie Ness called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Bernie <br />Ness. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that minutes of <br /> the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order a_~_oroved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve order of the <br /> agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />· Amend Commission Policy Manual-appoint Larry Wilcox to Weed Board <br />· Contract approval--Fargo Cass Public Health <br />· out-of-state travel request-State's Attorney Office <br />· permit for site authorization at Wild Rice Bar--National Multiple Sclerosis Society <br /> <br />m <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action of Auqust 21. 1995 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to adopt Personnel <br /> Policy Section 1.12, County Work Product Defined; and to amend <br /> Personnel Policy Section 6.00, Sick Leave Accumulation Payoff. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend ~ection 4.00. Advisory_ Boards <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend <br /> Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, to appoint <br /> Yvette Gerhke to replace Tom Moores (at his request) on the Weed <br /> Control Board for an unexpired term ending July 1, 1998. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend <br />Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, to appoint <br />Larry Wilcox to replace Don Eckert on the County Weed Control Board <br />for a four-year term to expire July 1, 1999. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. Mr. Eckert's term expired July 1, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />
