MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Social Services employees Roger Flynn and Beth Desotel to attend staffing at Intensive Treatment Center in Fergus Falls, MN on October 17, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. DATA PROCESSING, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out-of-state travel for Beth Workin to attend the SYNON Release 5.0 workshop in Chicago, IL November 21 and 22, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. wieland seconded to receive and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Mark T. Bader and authorize duplicate check· On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. CONTRACT APPROVAL, North Dakota Department of Transportation MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the following contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio commissioner, subject to State's Attorney approval; and authorize the chairman to sign: 1) North Dakota Department of Transportation for construction and maintenance and right-of-way certification for structure over Sheyenne River three miles east of Kindred; and 2) North Dakota Department of Transportation for Interstate 94/County Road 17 interchange area bikeway (authorize County Engineer Keith Berndt to request deletion of sidewalk from project). On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Purchase order for used culverts MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve purchase order for used culverts from Clay County, MN according to memo from county engineer dated October 17, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. ABATEMENT HEARING, David Butler MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded that Abatement #3984 and #3985 submitted by David Butler be reduced to $500 true and full value, as recommended by Francis Klein, Tax Equalization Director. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· ABATEMENT HEARING, Charles and Barbara Larkin MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Ness seconded that Abatement #3986 submitted by Charles and Barbara Larkin be approved as recommended by Tax Equalization Director Francis Klein. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
