Minutes--September 19, 1994 1249 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 19, 1994 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon <br />Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that minutes <br /> of the previous meetings of September 6 and September 15, <br /> 1994, be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve order <br /> of the agenda, adding the following item to consent agenda: <br /> contract with Braun Intertec. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Commendation letter to Ruth Ann Anderson <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to send a <br /> letter of commendation to Ruth Ann Anderson for excellent <br /> services provided in the adult protection services division <br /> of Cass County Social Services during her employment since <br /> July, 1982. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />BOND FOR LOST INSTRUMENT, Received and filed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive <br /> and file Indemnity Bond on Lost Instrument for Bryan <br /> Grossman and authorize County Treasurer to issue duplicate <br /> check. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />DATA PROCESSING, Out-of-state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Data Processing Coordinator Mike <br /> Steiner to attend AT&T and U.S. West emerging technologies <br /> presentation in Minneapolis, MN September 28-29, 1994. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Section 14·01 and 14.02 MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to amend <br /> Commission Policy Manual section 14.01, county standing <br /> committees and section 14.02, county standing committees <br /> procedures. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
