Minutes--September 6, 1994 1241 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 6, 1994 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness <br />Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Steve Risher. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that minutes <br /> of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda, adding the following items to the <br /> consent agenda: remote access contract with Park Company <br /> Realtors and designate polling locations and hours for <br /> general election. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY, Leonard Community Club MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> permit for fireworks display for the Leonard Community Club <br /> on the date of September 10, 1994, at the ball diamond in <br /> Leonard, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Norman Lutheran Church MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> permit for raffle for the Norman Lutheran Church, Kindred, <br /> ND on the date of November 20, 1994. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out- <br /> of-state travel for Bev Bohn to Duluth, MN on September 9 <br /> and 10, 1994; and for Leslie Johnson to St. Cloud, MN on <br /> September 23, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve out- <br /> of-state travel for Gail Wischmann and Carlos Nestler, Jr. <br /> to attend the 1994 Warrant/Transport Officers Conference on <br /> September 13-15, 1994, in Rapid City, SD. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br /> <br />
