Comm. Minutes--August 15, 1994 1236 DEPARTMENT HEADS[-PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AUGUST 15, 1994 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: 1) raffle permit for Nora Lutheran Church of Gardner, and 2) mosquito control contracts with the cities of Horace and Frontier. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. WEED CUTTING, Publication approved MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to authorize publication of the notice for weed cutting according to North Dakota Century Code. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SHERIFF DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Lyla L. Rath, RN, to attend the National Conference on Correctional Health Care, on September 26-28, 1994, in San Diego. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of- state travel for Marlene Sorum to attend a pre-placement visit for a foster child on August 9, 1994, in Alexandria, MN. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. HOUSING AUTHORITY OF CASS COUNTY, Additional housing vouchers MOTION, passed Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to send a letter of support for application of the Housing Authority of Cass County for an additional ten units of housing vouchers. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
