Enclosed, herewith is a listing of the responsibilities, as we understand the project, <br />and a fee proposal. <br /> <br />Houston Engineering responsibilities are as follows: <br /> <br />I. Preliminary Engineering & Project Administration <br /> <br />A. Review scope of work with County. <br />B. Attend PS & E and Preconstruction meetings. <br />C. Prepare typical pavement options and review asphalt mix alternatives. <br />D. Prepare traffic control plan & list traffic control devices, if required. <br />E. Provide input for specifications and bid documents for project. <br />F. Coordinate engineering services. <br /> <br />II. Surveying - As this is an overlay project, we do not anticipate any survey work <br />associated with preparing the plans. <br /> <br />III. Design Engineering & CAD <br /> <br />A. Prepare existing & proposed typical paving sections. <br />B. Calculate topsoil quantity for pavement edging. <br />C. Calculate pavement marking & signing quantities. <br />D. Calculate paving quantities. <br />E. Prepare preliminary and final overlay plans with details. <br />F.
