<br />APPENDIX A <br />TO <br />GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) AGREEMENT <br /> <br />The following references to "County" mean Cass County Government, North Dakota; the <br />references to "City" mean City of West Fargo, North Dakota. <br /> <br />1. The County shall provide 1,040 hours per contract term to perform map <br />updates for all of the property within the city of West Fargo, North Dakota. <br /> <br />2. The County's information technology (IT) department shall provide the <br />necessary coordination to facilitate use of GIS applications within the City. <br /> <br />3. The County and the City shall jointly develop through a consultant an updated <br />Intranet/Internet based GIS mapping application based on SQL Enterprise <br />Geodatabases. <br /> <br />4. The parcel map updates will be incorporated into the County basemap on a <br />weekly basis to provide a seamless County dataset. This data will reside on the <br />County Enterprise Geodatabase server. <br /> <br />5. The City shall provide a list of layers/tasks that would be of high priority for <br />implementation by the County. This may include tasks such as addressing, <br />geocoding and additional basemap development. Communication of such <br />tasks shall be done through County's Information Technology Department. <br /> <br />6. The City shall provide the County electronic access to the City's existing GIS <br />data and associated documents. <br /> <br />7. The City shall provide information on all parcel transactions in either hard <br />copies or electronic format. The City and County shall develop the workflow <br />process from plat recordation to parcel creation. <br /> <br />8. The City shall provide minor research necessary to validate problematic <br />parcels or documents. The County shall log unresolved parcels or features into <br />a discrepancy file for further research by the City. The County shall provide <br />access to the County's Register of Deeds digital information and contact <br />person to support any necessary research. <br /> <br />9. The City shall provide formal GIS training as needed for their staff. <br /> <br />10. Custom application development at the request of the City requiring custom <br />programming will be at the cost of the City. <br />
