Comm. Minutes--September 7, 1993 1096 25. 26. 27. VOUCHERS, Approved MOTION, passed Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve vouchers No. 52,434 through No. 53,521. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. COMMISSIONERS PER DIEM; FARGO SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION BUILDING; FARGO PUBLIC FACILITIES REVIEW COMMITTEE; COUNTY HEALTH FAIR UPDATE; APPOINTMENT TO STATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE; JAIL SEWER PROBLEM, Committee reports On budget cuts, Mr. Wieland said his first proposal will be that Cass County Commissioners serving on any appointed boards will not be paid per diem for those meetings. Bonnie Johnson met with representatives of the Fargo School District regarding the school administration building adjacent to the Juvenile Justice Center. Mrs. Toussaint suggested referring this to the Space and Planning Committee and asked Mrs. Johnson to set up a meeting. It was the consensus of the Commission to have Bonnie Johnson respond to a letter from the City of Fargo Public Facilities Review Committee asking to delay their request for an appearance before their committee until further notice. Mr. Risher said the Benefits Review Committee met today and decided to set the hours of the October 8th County Health Fair to be held from 10:00 AM 5:00 PM at the Juvenile Justice Center. Mr. Risher reported that Governor Edward Schafer appointed him to serve on an Economic Development Committee for the State of North Dakota. Mr. Ness said a plumbing contractor is still working on the sewer problem at the County Jail. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Risher seconded to receive and file correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. memo from County Treasurer Charlotte Sandvik on sending notices resulting in higher delinquent tax collections; notice from Housing Authority of Cass County that their request was approved for remodeling the Casselton housing facility; letter from West Fargo Mayor Florenz Bjornson concerning joint dispatch services between the City of West Fargo and Cass County Government; copy of letter regarding joint dispatch services from Fargo Mayor to West Fargo Mayor;
