Minutes--September 7, 1993 1089 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> SEPTEMBER 7, 1993 (TUESDAY) <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 <br />PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, <br />Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Sharon Toussaint. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded that minutes from <br /> the August 16, 1993 regular meeting be approved as written; <br /> and that minutes from the August 30, 1993 special meeting <br /> be approved with the following correction: delete the <br /> first sentence in paragraph 5 relating to Child Support <br /> Enforcement staffing, and add that the equipment request <br /> for temporary help was eliminated because they can use <br /> equipment in other offices. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve the order <br /> of the agenda with the following additions: 1) request <br /> to use self-funded county health insurance for services at <br /> County Health Fair; 2) permit for Sunday alcoholic <br /> beverage sales at Knickerbocker Liquor Locker, Hickson; and <br /> 3) resolution of condolences to the family of the late <br /> Herschel Lashkowitz. Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Hickson Lutheran Church Women MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve raffle <br /> permit for Hickson Lutheran Church Women to be held October <br /> 31, 1993, at Hickson Lutheran Church. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMIT, Otter Tail Power Company; Cass Rural Water Users <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve utility <br /> permit for Otter Tail Power Company to put an underground <br /> cable across County Road #10. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve utility <br />permit for Cass Rural Water Users to install a 3" water <br />line crossing County Road #17 in Barnes Township, Section <br />30. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE, Auditor's recommendations approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded to transfer ~3,000 <br /> of the authorized budget for contingency in the General <br /> Fund to the Insurance Reserve Fund for the liability <br /> <br /> <br />
