Minutes--February 1, 1993 990 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br /> REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> FEBRUARY 1, 1993 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order at 3:30 <br />PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, <br />Alon Wieland, Bernie Ness and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION~ passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes <br /> from the previous meeting be approved with correction on <br /> page 985, paragraph 16 to read as follows: Correspondence <br /> was received from County Auditor Michael Montplaisir, <br /> State's Attorney John Golf and Assistant City of Fargo <br /> Attorney Garylle B. Stewart, regarding unpaid and <br /> uncancelled taxes on leasehold or other possessory <br /> interests concerning property owned by the City of Fargo <br /> and formerly leased by Red River Human Services Foundation. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION~ passed <br /> Mr. Ness moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the order <br /> of agenda adding the following items to the consent agenda: <br /> 1) Raffle permit for Kindred Lions Club and 2) Finance <br /> Committee recommendations. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATIONS, Kathryn Strandberq and Marlys Hanson of Social <br />Services <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to present <br /> letters of commendation to Kathryn Strandberg and Marlys <br /> Hanson of Social Services as read by Chairman Toussaint. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Chaffee Summer Activity Program~ Kindred Lions Club <br /> MOTION~ passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle <br /> permits for Chaffee Summer Activity Program to be held <br /> March 13, 1993, at Chaffee School; and for Kindred Lions <br /> Club to be held on April 2, 1993, at Kindred School. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />POT HOLE FUND ALLOCATIONS, Approve procedure MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the <br /> County Road Engineer to sign a voucher for the pot hole <br /> allocation for 1993 without going through the application <br /> process.
