Comm. Minutes--December 7, 1992 962 <br /> <br /> AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of <br />Cass County, North Dakota, will forward this call for new priorities <br />to our community's elected representatives in Congress and to the <br />President of the United States. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 7th day of December, 1992. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Auditor to offer lots to cities <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize <br /> the county auditor to offer tax-forfeited property to the <br /> city in which said property is located (according to list <br /> furnished by the county auditor) for $1.00 plus recording <br /> fee of $7 for each property, with the stipulation that the <br /> county will cancel all current and delinquent taxes against <br /> said property and the city will cancel all certified <br /> special assessments against said property. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />AUDITOR'S REQUEST, Transfer from contingency fund to elections fund <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to transfer <br /> $35,000 from the contingency fund to auditor - elections, <br /> increasing the auditor - elections 1992 budget to $174,603. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMITS, U.S. West and Cass County Electric MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize <br /> U.S. West Communications to make one crossing of County <br /> Road #10 approximately three miles west of Casselton, as <br /> approved by the County Road Engineer. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to authorize <br /> Cass County Electric Cooperative to place an underground <br /> cable in Section 31-140-52, as approved by the County Road <br /> Engineer. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />MAPLETON SCHOOL, Engineer's response endorsed on request for signs <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the Cass <br /> County Commission endorse the County Engineer's response to <br /> the Mapleton School Board regarding their request for <br /> additional signs on County Road 10 between West Fargo and <br /> Mapleton. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />COUNTY COMMISSION, SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to approve <br /> out-of-state travel for Commissioner Steve Risher to attend <br /> the National Association of Counties Community and Economic <br /> Development Steering Committee meeting in Washington, DC on <br /> February 26th-March 2nd, 1993, with expenses being paid <br /> from the commission travel budget. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
