870 <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JUNE 8, 1992 <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the special meeting to order with <br />three members present as follows: Alon Wieland, Don Eckert <br />and Steve Risher. Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Gene Shannon <br />were absent. <br /> <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT, Bridge repair at Section 15-16, Highland <br />Township <br />Mr. Grindberg said he received two bids to repair the bridge <br />at Section 15-16 in Highland Township. Wanzek Construction <br />bid $56,590 and Dakota Bridge bid $59,288 to repair the <br />bridge. He said Cass County Road Department could fix the <br />bridge for a total approximately $40,000. MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that <br />Cass County Road Department repair said bridge <br />for an estimated $40,000. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Risher said this was an emergency situation and therefore <br />bids were not advertised. Mr. Grindberg did contact the above <br />bidders by phone. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> MOTIOn, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Eckert seconded to <br /> adjourn.
