<br />Commission Minutes-November 21,2005 3006 <br /> <br />INFORMAL MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 21, 2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Commissioners met for an informal planning meeting at 4:25 PM on Monday, November 21, <br />2005, in the Commission Room at the Courthouse. Members present were Robyn Sorum, <br />Scott Wagner, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Vern Bennett. Also present were Michael <br />Montplaisir, County Auditor; Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator; and Heather Worden, <br />Administrative Secretary. <br /> <br />2. CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR NOMINATIONS <br />Commissioners discussed the chairman and vice chairman positions. The names will be <br />forwarded to the agenda for the first meeting in December, which is December 5, 2005. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded to nominate Vern Bennett, <br />the current vice chairman, to serve as Cass County Commission <br />Chairman for the term of December 5, 2005 through December 4, 2006. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to nominate Scott Wagner <br />to serve as Cass County Commission Vice Chairman for the term of <br />December 5, 2005 through December 4, 2006. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. PORTFOLIOS, COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS, MEETING DATES <br />Commissioners discussed portfolio assignments for the upcoming year, as well as other <br />board and committee assignments, including outside agency representation. The board will <br />take formal action at the first meeting in December. <br /> <br />No changes were suggested for the regular board meetings or the rotational meetings with <br />county department heads. <br /> <br />4. ADJOURNMENT <br />MOTION, passed <br />On motion by Mr. Wagner and seconded by 1VJ.l:. Pawluk, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 4:45 PM.
