<br />Commission Minutes--November 21,2005 3005 <br /> <br />10. VOUCHERS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />202,442 through Voucher No. 202,966. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. SOLID WASTE STUDY; POLICE STATION OPEN HOUSE; TOWNSHIP OFFICERS' <br />MEETING; LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH PLANNING MEETING, Committee reports <br />Mr. Bennett said a solid waste study will be conducted involving surrounding counties in <br />North Dakota and Minnesota, including Cass County. He said the county may be asked to <br />help fund the study. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said the commission has been invited to attend an open house for the newly <br />remodeled police department on December 5, 2005, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Since this is <br />the same time as the regularly scheduled commission meeting, she will send an RSVP to let <br />them know of the conflict. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner attended the annual fall township officers' meeting last week. He said several <br />departments were present and gave reports. <br /> <br />Mr. Vanyo received an invitation from the North Dakota Association of Counties to attend a <br />local public health planning meeting in Jamestown on December 12, 2005. He asked if Mr. <br />Bennett is willing to attend since he is the county's representative on the Board of Health. <br /> <br />12. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />Letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding a change in <br />appraisal waiver maximum payment change on federal aid projects; <br />Letter from City of Tower City to commissioners regarding cleaning out a stretch of ditch <br />along County Highway 1, north of Tower City (copy referred to Rich Sieg, County <br />Engineer's Office). <br /> <br />13.
