Part of the restructuring included adding two more director positions as well as initiating term limits. The limits are normally for three year terms but many of the first year terms starting in 2005 were staggered in length. One of those terms was for Cass County's appointment of Mick Hammerstrom. Since Mick's term for 2005 was set for one year, our organization is recommending you reappoint Mick for a second term of three years to be served from January 2006 through December 2008. Mick currently serves as Chair of the GIF and if reappointed, he will more than likely serve that capacity again in 2006. I have asked Mick ifhe would be willing to serve a second term and he has indicated that he would do so. If you need to contact Mick, his work phone is 233-5145 and his cell phone is 371-9642. Once the Commission determines their appointment to the OIF for 2006-2008, will you please contact me to inform me of their decision?
