Minutes--December 16, 1991 786 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMM%SSIONERS <br /> DECEMBER 16, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Steve Risher, Alon <br />Wieland, Don Eckert and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve the <br /> order of the agenda as amended, to include two personnel <br /> policy changes, a clarification of the chain of command in <br /> the County Road Department, and a letter from the Register <br /> of Deeds regarding a vacation issue. Motion carried· <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATIONS, Beth Fischer, Clerk of District Court's Office, <br />Bonnie Johnson <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to send letters <br /> of commendation to Beth Fisher, to the Clerk of District <br /> Court's Office, and to Bonnie Johnson. On roll call vote, <br /> motion carried unanimously. The letters were read by <br /> Commissioners, presented to respective employees and copies <br /> will be posted on the main floor bulletin board. <br /> <br />BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, Cooperative agreement with Clay County <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the <br /> cooperative agreement between Cass County, North Dakota, <br /> and Clay County, Minnesota, for bridge replacement on the <br /> Red River on County Road 34, known as the Georgetown <br /> bridge. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />COUNTY COURT, COMMISSIONERS, STATES ATTORNEY, Out of state travel <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Judge Georgia Dawson to attend the <br /> National Court Technology Conference in Dallas, Texas, <br /> March 11-15, 1992. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Commissioners Steve Risher and Gene <br /> Shannon to attend the National Association of Counties 1992 <br /> Legislative Conference on February 28-March 3, 1992, in <br /> Washington, D.C. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
