They have met with the Auditor, Treasurer, Tax Director, Recorder, County Coordinator and Sheriff Departments. This month, they will hear from the Information Technology and Social Services Departments. And in December, they plan to meet with you to discuss their findings so far. The committee has discussed elected officials and the process to make certain offices appointed. They also want to consider if anything can be done to make offices run more efficiently and to look at possible consolidation of services. Bernie Dardis, who serves as chairman of the committee, will present a resolution for the board to consider.
