Minutes--May 20, 1991 669 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MAY 20, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Alon Wieland, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the minutes <br /> of the last regular meeting of May 6, 1991, be approved as <br /> written and that the minutes of the special meeting of May <br /> 6, 1991, be approved, amending Section 7.00 (starting <br /> salaries) in the proposed personnel policies manual. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> the order of the agenda adding consideration of bids for <br /> on-going projects, including jail remodeling, as the first <br /> item after the consent agenda; adding a request from Judge <br /> Frank Racek to address the agenda item on Human Resource <br /> issues; and adding a request for a Release of Mortgage <br /> before the committee reports. Motion carried. <br /> <br />· 4. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Ratify board actions of May 6, 1991 MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded the adoption of <br /> the revised proposed Parent Aide budget request. On roll <br /> call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the Client <br /> Records Policy for Social Service programs be approved. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the Director <br /> of Social Services develop an operational plan for the <br /> establishment of the new federal program to provide day <br /> care for working parents. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the proposed <br /> Prime Time budget for 7/91-6/93 be submitted to the <br /> Department of Human Services. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Risher seconded the Chairman of <br /> the Cass County Social Service Board be authorized to sign <br /> a proclamation recognizing the month of May, 1991 as <br /> "Foster Care Month" and that this proclamation be forwarded <br /> to the County Commission. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
