Ninutes--February 19, 1991 625 REGULAR NEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF CONNISSIONERS FEBRUARY 19, 1991 (TUESDAY) MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with the following members present: Alon Wieland, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, Steve Risher and Gene Shannon. Commissioner Don Eckert was absent. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded that the minutes of February 4, 1991 be approved as written. Motion carried. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Embden Community Club MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a raffle permit for Embden CommunityClub on June 27, 1991 in Embden, ND. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECTOR, Evaluation of performance approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve performance evaluation of Social Services Director Kathy Hogan, in accordance with Social Services Board action at the February 4, 1991 meeting. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND CONSOLIDATION, Gethsemane property purchase MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to transfer $40,000 from General Fund Building Purchase line item and $25,500 from General Fund Contingency line item to Gethsemane Property capital projects fund; and pay Gethsemane Cathedral $195,000 and Ohnstad Twichell Law Firm $200.00 from Gethsemane Property capital projects fund for title opinion for the property. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. OFFICER'S REPORTS, Received and filed for January MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file Officer's Reports for January. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously· LEASE AGREEMENT, Attorney General office space in Courthouse MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize Chairman and County Auditor to sign lease agreement for Attorney General's office space in Cass County Courthouse. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. BID ON DEVELOPMENT OF COUNTY LOGO, Awarded to Spider Johnk Advertisinq MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to accept the low bid of $950.00 from Spider Johnk Advertising for the development of a County logo, to be paid from the General Fund letterhead line item. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
