Minutes--January 21, 1991 608 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />JANUARY 21, 1991 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint, <br />Alon Wieland, Steve Risher and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the <br /> minutes of the January 7, 1991, special legislative meeting <br /> and the last regular meeting of January 8, 1991, be <br /> approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STATES ATTORNEY OFFICE, Staff commendation for Mark Boening <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to send a <br /> letter of commendation as read by Commissioner Alon Wieland <br /> to Mark Boening, Assistant States Attorney. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LOTS, Deeds to Fargo, West Fargo, Tower City <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to cancel the <br /> general tax for the City of Fargo in the amount of <br /> $5,773.29; cancel the general tax for the City of West <br /> Fargo in the amount of $13,827.55; cancel the general tax <br /> for Tower City in the amount of $1,144.73; and authorize <br /> the Chairman of the Board and the County Auditor to sign <br /> County Deeds for each parcel. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT, Deputy County Auditors MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> appointment of Deputy County Auditors Joyce Schepp, Cheryl <br /> McQuade, and Lavonne Rudolph. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OFFICERS REPORTS, Received and filed for December, 1990 <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to receive and <br /> file Officer's Reports for December, 1990. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />INSURANCE, Contract renewed with Blue Cross-Blue Shield <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Risher seconded to authorize <br /> the Commission Chairman to sign Attachment A of the 1991 <br /> employee's health insurance contract with Blue Cross/Blue <br /> Shield.
