STATES ATTORNEY, BudRet delayed <br />Further discussion will be held between the States Attorney and the <br />Sheriff on sharing the position of Investigator. Costs on remodeling <br />and furniture for another person in the States Attorney's Office also <br />need to be addressed, and Mr. Shannon asked Mr. Montplaisir to <br />contact Bob Hoy. Approval of the States Attorney budget was delayed. <br /> <br />30. STATES ATTORNEY, Victim witness budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to adopt the <br /> Victim Witness program budget. Motion carried. <br /> <br />31. CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT UNIT, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to approve the <br /> Child Support Enforcement Unit budget. Motion carried. <br /> <br />32. VETERANS SERVICE OFFICE, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> the budget of the Veterans Service Office. Motion carried. <br /> <br />33. EXTENSION AGENT, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> the County Extension Agent's budget as amended. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />34. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Budget approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and M.r. Shannon seconded to adopt the <br /> County Road and Bridge budget as amended. Motion carried. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the study <br /> entry under the Road Department be annotated with the <br /> comment that the Commission will establish the criteria for <br /> the study. Motion carried. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved that in regards to the Engineering III <br /> position that prior to the hiring of that individual that <br /> the position be reevaluated and brought to the Commission <br /> for final approval. Seconded by Mrs. Toussaint and <br /> carried. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Hr. Shannon moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to adopt the <br /> 10 mill road levy budget of $1,700,000. Hotion carried. <br /> <br />35. WEED CONTROL, Budget approved <br />Mr. Eckert recommended a discussion between the Weed Control and <br />Vector Control Districts, and the possibility of combining the <br />positions of the two directors. Mr. Shannon suggested using some <br />study fees for an outside specialist to investigate and make a <br />recommendation. <br /> <br /> <br />
