Minutes--April 4, 1989 219 <br /> <br />12.COURTHOUSE ENTRANCE, Security card system <br />Sheriff Don Rudnick reported that the new security entrance system <br />includes 95 cards, but 102 cards have been requested by County <br />departments. The Sheriff recommended ordering another 50 cards, some <br />to be used to replace lost or stolen cards. Hr. Eckert stated that <br />a temporary card will be available from the jail if necessary. The <br />Sheriff did not know the cost of additional cards or how long it <br />would take to get them. He will report back on this. Mr. Eckert <br />suggested that the Sheriff further reduce the list of those wanting <br />cards rather than order additional cards, and this was agreeable with <br />the Commissioners. <br /> <br />13.COUNTY COURT, Reile's Acres ordinance violations <br />County Judge Frank Racek appeared before the Board with Sue Cleary, <br />Council Member of Reile's Acres. He stated that Reile's Acres will be <br />paying the expenses for prosecuting their cases in County Court under <br />his proposal. Mr. Sondrall asked if County Court is prepared to <br />handle cases for the remainder of the cities in the County as well, <br />and Judge Racek stated that they are presently handling municipal <br />cases according to State law. MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Sondra]] seconded that <br /> with the understanding that this is thought to be <br /> financially advantageous to both parties, that <br /> the States Attorney of Cass County is hereby <br /> granted authority to negotiate with the City of <br /> Rei]e's Acres a contract for the use of Cass <br /> County. Court for disposition of municipal <br /> ordinance violations for Reile's Acres as <br /> proposed by Judge Frank Racek; and to include <br /> that the contract be for a period of one year so <br /> that it can be reviewed and renewed if agreeable <br /> with both parties. On roll call vote, the motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />14.PERSONNEL POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE, Report deadliDe extended <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Upon the request of Judge Frank Racek, Chairman <br /> of the Personnel Po]icy Review Committee, Mr. <br /> Wis]and moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to <br /> allow the committee an extension of 14 days to <br /> file their report, as opposed to April 15th and <br /> place it on the Hay 2nd Commission agenda. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />15.MEETING RECESSED FOR COUNTY PARK BOARD HEETING <br />Chairman Eckert declared a recess for the purpose of a meeting of the <br />Cass County Park Board, and the Commission meeting reconvened at <br />Noon. <br /> <br />16.LARC RURAL INCUBATOR PROGRAM, Enhancement by REC's <br />Mr. Hichae] D. Gustafson, Genera] Manager of Cass County Electric <br />Cooperative at Kindred, gave a presentation to the Board on behalf of <br />Cass County Electric, RSR at Hi]nor, and Sheyenne Valley at Finley <br /> <br /> <br />
