199 <br /> <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to receive and file the <br />Officer's Reports for January, 1989. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> Upon the written request of Richard Offutt, Mr. Wieland moved and <br />Mr. Shannon seconded to approve the hiring of Ms. Delrae Korczak as <br />Programmer/Analyst in the Data Processing Department at a starting <br />annual salary of $22,000, to fill a vacancy due to the termination of <br />Ms. Corine Hanson. The salary range for this position is $21,072 - <br />$29,004. Mrs. Toussaint questioned the salary because the Bob Black <br />Report suggested hiring new employees at the entry level. The motion <br />carried on roll call vote with all members present voting "Aye". <br /> <br /> Upon the written request of Tom Jensen, Mrs. Toussaint moved and <br />Mr. Wieland seconded to approve an additional six months of added <br />compensation for Bev Bohn in the amount of $100.00 per month and $50.00 <br />per month for Kathy Suedel, Social Services employees, pending <br />finalization of a planned reorganization of the foster care and child <br />protection service units.
