Wieland seconded that the Chairman be <br />authorized to sign the County Deeds to the cities of Harwood, Fargo <br />and Kindred for- the purchase of tax-delinquent lots, and to cancel <br />the general taxes. On roi1 call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br /> Due to an assessment error, Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall <br />seconded to reduce the sale pr'ice to $249.03 on a parcel of land in <br />Section 6, City of West Far'go, which is on 'the delinquent tax sale <br />list; and to cancel taxes in 'the amount of $117.89. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> County Auditor Ordelle Brua requested permission to increase the <br />salaries of two employees in the Auditor's Office due to a vacancy <br />and the need for cross-training. The Commission requested that the <br />Auditor provide job descriptions showing the changes in the two <br />positions 'for which she is requesting an increase. <br /> <br />Committee reports were given. <br /> <br /> Upon the recommendation of Chairman Eckert, Mr. Wieland moved <br />and Mr. Larson seconded to adopt a policy whereby billings for <br />approaches on County roads at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds will <br />be at the cost of the County Road Department, and that any other work <br />done by the Road Department at the fairgrounds be charged to the Red <br />River Valley Fair Association.
