34 Mr. Nieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the County Engineer be authorized to advertise for the position of a full-time motor grader' operator at Buffalo; and that Mr. Richards notify the County Commission of the pay grade and salary range, and also notify the Salary Review Committee. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded to grant approval for out of state travel for Joyre Temanson, County Social Services employee, to Stillwater, MN on March 28, 1988; and to Joyoe Temanson and Kathy Suedel to St. Cloud, MN on March 22, 1988. Motlon carried. Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Social Services Director Tom Jensen be authorized to hire staff replacement for Eleanor Fiok in Pay Grade 11, effective approximately May 51, 1988. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Mr. Larson moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to receive and file the Officer's Reports for February, 1988. Motion carried. Dorothy Howard, Clerk of District Court, appeared before the Board requesting salary adjustments in her department. She stated that she has appeared before the Salary Review Committee and understood that the Chairman of that committee would be making a recommendation to the Commission. Chairman Eokert stated that he has received only one Salary and Pay Grade Form from the SalaFy Review Committee, this being for Gerri Welk in Pay Grade 4 at a salary of $1,129.00 per month. Mr. Wieland suggested not making a decision until the Commission receives the recommendation from Salary Review. Ms. Howard presented a memo to the Commission, and she stated that a member of the Salary Review Committee on this date verified the pay grades and salary adjustments as requested by Ms. Howard in her memo. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Clerk of District Court be authorized to make the salary and pay grade adjustments according to the listing submitted on this date, effective March 1, 1988. The motion carried on roll call vote with all members present voting "Aye" The Board requested that she prepare a Salary and Pay Grade Form for each of the positions that were adjusted, and that they be referred to the Personnel Technician after being signed by Chairman Don Eckert. Mrs. Stanton asked Diana Murack to develop a routing schedule to be followed in the future on the Salary and Pay Grade forms. Regarding State laws concerning confidentiality of personnel records, Chairman Eckert asked Diana Murack to investigate this with the States Attorney and with Sandra 8rumfield, Personnel Technician. Notice was received of the annual spring meeting of the Cass County Township Officer's Association to be held on March 22, 1988, at 7:50 P.M. in the Casselton Memorial Auditorium.
